**We are now hiring for the Fall season! We will be doing interviews the first week of August with an immediate start date. Those applying should be able to work the month of August (either opening or closing shifts) and then at least 1-2 afternoons during the week and one day on the weekend. This is a great job for a high school student who does not play fall sports (please see requirements below) or someone just looking for a few days a week! Typically, we begin conducting employment interviews in February for an early spring start date and we have already filled all positions for the spring season 2026.

 

We look for individuals with superior skills in customer service, communication, and multitasking.  Retail cashier experience and plant knowledge are a plus! Please note:

—All jobs require the ability to perform physical labor. This includes, but is not limited to, constant standing, as well as repetitive lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting of the upper body.

—All jobs require you to learn how to run the register. All employees must be able to run register even if that is not their primary position.

—Some positions may require working in both indoor and outdoor settings, regardless of the weather.

—We schedule for opening and closing shifts. You must be able to work at least one weekend day.

High school students MUST be at least 16 years old and be able to work two days after school  (3 pm to close, which is usually between 6:15 and 6:30 pm), as well as one day on the weekend.  Please know that those students who get us through our busy spring season get the hours in the summer.  We don't typically hire for just a "summer job" unless we happen to have an opening. Unfortunately, if you play a spring or fall sport, this won't be a good fit. You must have or arrange for your own transportation, although the school bus can drop you off here if you attend Guilderland High School. You must have valid working papers to begin work.
