About the event
This is a FREE class! Please RSVP by April 26 if you plan on attending so that we have enough supplies, chairs and donuts! This class will be taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener CONNIE METCALF.
Connie grew up on a dairy farm in central Massachusetts with a huge garden and has been gardening ever since. She has concentrated on vegetables and other edibles, perennial beds and growing plants in containers. Connie studied Foods and Nutrition at UConn and Cornell and has operated a kitchenware store/cooking school, been a traveling salesperson and taught nutrition and cooking skills. She first became a Master Gardener volunteer while living in Maryland and has continued here in NY.
