About the event

This is an introduction to planting different plants together such as vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, etc. that provide benefit to their neighbors through nutrients, providing shade, or protection from pests or diseases.

This is a FREE class- but please pre-register so that we have enough seats, materials, and refreshments!

This class will be taught by John Martin.  After settling in with retirement, John decided to find a way to give back to the community. In 2018, John completed the Master Gardener training and started volunteering. He has been gardening, growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables over the last 35 years and through trial and error has found what works for him. John merged his experiences with research based gardening practices to develop presentations. He enjoys helping communities and individuals learn to garden and take care of the environment.
